Dharani Persaud is a queer Indo-Guyanese-American writer, organizer, and archival enthusiast from Minnesota. She has publications at Under the Gum Tree, Hobart, Kajal Magazine, 2040 Review, and Brown Girl Magazine. She performed at Tender Table in 2019 and has facilitated several writing workshops with a focus on queerness and ancestry.
Dharani graduated from Wellesley College in 2017 with a BA in International Relations and a minor in Italian. She used to work at GrubStreet in Boston as their Youth & Community Programs Manager, and is currently pursuing a dual Master’s in Archival Studies and Library & Information Sciences at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
